BREAKING: PDP Spokesman Abducted in Kogi
The Spokesperson of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, Presidential Council in Kogi state has been kidnapped.
Mr. Austin Okai was abducted yesterday night by armed thugs which the PDP say was mobilized by by the All Progressives Congress (APC) .
This was made known by PDP’s National Public Relations Officer, Kola Ologbodiyan. Kola called on the Inspector General of Police, Adamu Mohammed, to disband the he checking point in Banda, Lokoja-Abuja highway, where he claims members of his party are being intimidated.

Furthermore, Kola said if the IGP does not issue an order for the immediate release of Austin, it may send a wrong signal to the already angered youths in the state which may result to a clampdown of law and order.
The PDP PRO further called on Adamu to intervene in the alleged intimidation of ward chairmen of the PDP in Abua-Odual Local Government of Rivers state where he claims they have been arrested by security agencies on the order of President Buhari.

Kola further said that members of the Opposition PDP are been intimidated in Kano, stating that campaign officials and even a Senatorial candidate, Ahmed Bichi and a serving member of the House of Representatives, Hon. Ahmed Garba Bichi are been apprehended.
