The Ohanaeze-Ndibo Socio Cultural group has condemned the postponement of Presidential and National assembly elections earlier slated for today, February 16 2019.
The apex Igbo group described the shift as ‘Rude Shock’ . The Socio -Gultural group said that it will not draw conclusions on the gesture yet until after a stakeholders meeting with the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC.
National Assistant publicity secretary of the organization, Chuks Ibegbu made this know to news men in Enugu.
As you may know, INEC had in the early hours of today announced a nationwide postponement of the national assembly and Presidential elections.
Consequent upon, there have been reactions from all over the country. President Buhari of the APC and the PDP’s Presidential Candidate have both condemned the gesture describing it as unforeseen.
