Princewill said that INEC has shown itself to be independent, following its decision to neglect the stay of execution order on Justice Omotosho’s order restraining members of the party to feature in the March 9 elections.
He also said that the Supreme Court has thrashed the appeal seeking the nullification of the stay of execution order, last week but despite all these, INEC is still bent on seeing that candidates of the party still do not participate in the elections.
Princewill said that with this proceedings against the INEC Chairman, its either elections would be held twice in the state or the INEC chairman lets members of his party to feature in the elections.
“They cannot exclude us. But if they do, they will face the legal consequences. We can either do this election once or they will conduct it twice. The law is on our side.” – the APC chieftain said.
