An Open Letter to Honourable Uchechukwu Nnam Obi – By Melody Amos

I, Melody Amos, wish to congratulate Honorable Uchechukwu George Nnam-Obi on your re-election to the Green Chambers to represent the good people of Ahoada East/Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni Federal Constituency.

However, Your leadership style is complicated, though it  does not totally define who you truly are and in other to make my publication brief, I charge you to amend your style.

You may concede that your leadership style sent out negative buzz than anyone imagined, especially in the build up to the 2019 general elections.

We, your constituents wish to see a more pragmatic leader who communicates. Numerous inconsistencies and ambiguity marked your last 4 years in the Green Chambers.

Your position in the House of Representatives is not just to change Nigeria as it is almost impossible to achieve rather your constituency should be your major target.

Our former representatives focused on two style of projects; Boreholes and Skill Acquisition.  Its almost becoming a norm.

I urge you to look beyond this two style  and execute projects of un-quantifiable societal benefit.

If those working with you are not telling you the truth on how your constituents feel, then they are not just enemies of the constituency, but enemies of democracy.

Honorable Sir, You are perceived  as an outspoken member who leads bill in the house but in reality, we you constituents are not feeling the effect.

Sir, You are not a representative of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, fold alone. You, Honourable, should represent the masses at large.

Nonetheless, I wish to again officially say a big Congratulations to you and your entire campaign team for a good job well done.

We, your constituents wish to see a better representative this time, for the next four years.

God bless AWELGA
God Bless  ONELGA.
God Bless Rivers State,
God Bless Nigeria.

Melody Amos (APC)
Concerned Constituent
